This article describes how to obtain a child abuse registry check.

This article is not intended to describe how to obtain the following checks: Criminal record check; Vulnerable sector search; or Adult abuse registry check.

To obtain a Child abuse registry check:

  1. Those living within Manitoba, go to for information on how to obtain this check.
  2. Those living outside of Manitoba but in Canada: Most Provinces have a child registry check system. Canada does not have a National registry.
  3. Those living outside of Canada: here is a list of countries where a child abuse registry does NOT exist.
