H.E. Sellers Research Chair in Internal Medicine

The H.E. Sellers Research Chair in Internal Medicine which was established in 2001, was made possible by a generous donation from the Sellers Foundation. It was setup to provide leadership and vision for the creation of new areas of strength in clinical and translational research.

The Chair is named after Henry Eugene Sellers (1886-1970). Mr. Sellers established the Sellers Foundation to "further medical research, religious education, and other charitable activities source". Further information on Mr. Sellers is available at the Manitoba Historical Society's website here.
